Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Relationship Manager to join our team based in nationally. The salary on offer is from £80,000.

Business Relationship Managers (BRM) provide a customer-facing, strategic role focussed on enabling the organisational strategy and goals through technology enablement. Their aim is to ensure business value is being delivered in everything Technology Services (TS) delivers for our customers.

BRMs are in a leader role, where they work very closely with their customers (directorates and functions) and very closely across the breadth of TS to make this happen. Key responsibilities include:


  • BRMs are one of the key strategic links between customers and TS, working as trusted partners, defining, and prioritising new initiatives and enabling the advancement of these initiatives
  • Ensuring the organisation strategy and related goals are well understood and everything we aim to deliver in TS is aligned to this
  • Documenting, articulating, and maintaining a strong focus on the Value of new initiatives – what Value are we delivering to our customers through this new initiative

A few of the key requirements we look for are:

  • Business Relationship Management: e.g. CBRM, BRMP
  • Delivery: Agile / waterfall delivery methodology qualification (e.g. APM, PRINCE2, SCRUM)
  • Architecture: e.g. SAFe, TOGAF
  • Broad understanding of business operations
  • NHS and NHS Long-term plan
  • Property and facilities management
  • CRM, ERP, PropTech & M365 background
