We have a fantastic opportunity for a Learning and Development Coordinator (Apprentice) to join our team based in either London or Stockport. The salary on offer is up to £20,000.
The Apprentice Learning & Development Coordinator has a key role to play in contributing to the strategic People agenda at NHSPS. The remit of this role is to contribute to the success of NHSPS by supporting the Operations & Digital Learning Manager and the wider team to deliver the L&D plan and strategy through effective coordination and administration. Full support and training will be give throughout the journey to ensure successful completion the level 3 Learning & Development Practitioner Apprenticeship.
This will consist of:
- Organising and planning learning and development activity to support business needs.
- Responsible for the coordination of activity to support the learning and development plan.
- Supporting the development and ongoing administration of our Learning Management System
- Being the first point of contact for L&D queries.
- Support ongoing relationships with key suppliers and professional bodies.
Key responsibilities will include coordinating and supporting learning and development activity to deliver to all NHSPS colleagues through a range of blended methodologies, including virtual training, online content and other blended solutions; supporting the wider training team, and the ongoing administration and maintenance of our learning systems. You will coordinate learning and development course evaluation data, producing regular reports on the effectiveness of the training ensuring value add form the L&D offering with support from your mentor, liaise with third party suppliers as required, and collaborate with various teams and other People Team members as required including Digital Learning Designers, Performance & Talent and Health & Safety. The successful candidate will also support relationships with suppliers and professional bodies, research Delivery Options, and analyse learning needs to support effective delivery.
To be successful in this role, candidates must have 9 - 4 or A* - C GCSE in English & Mathematics, effective communication and presentation skills, and developed analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent planning and organisational skills and attention to detail will be critical to this role.
