Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Governance Coordinator to join our team based in London. The salary on offer is up to £25,000.

This is a role based within the Information Governance team which sits within the Finance Directorate.  This team provides support for the whole organisation. The role will be responsible for supporting the implementation of a robust Information Governance Framework across NHSPS. The role holder will also play a key role to lead, co-ordinate and administer responses to the Data Protection Act 2018 Subject Access Requests (SARs) and Freedom of Information (FOI) requests in line with the FOI Act 2000 and policies and procedures ensuring that a clear record is maintained of requests and the outcomes, with details of the decisions reached.

It is essential that the successful candidate has knowledge of the Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR, as well as knowledge of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and the Environmental Information Regulations 2004.It would be beneficial for applicants to have experience using database systems for logging and tracking reactive events, and a general working knowledge of regulation, guidance, and codes such as PECR and CCTV.
