Essential Skills and Qualifications
It is vital for the successful candidate to have to have an end to end understanding of Infrastructure Assets transformation and have had previous experience on asset data transformation and validation.
Main Responsibilities of Infrastructure Asset Survey Data Analyst
- Responsible for the data transformation of Infrastructure Asset Survey data.
- Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining CAFM database.
- Record keeping properties subjected to data transformation.
- Develop and maintain data transformation processes and procedures.
- Act as the Responsible Person (RP) for data validation between CAFM System and Surveys.
- Record keeping of data not loaded into CAFM System.
- Liaise with Technical Delivery Managers and Vendor Management for additional PPMs both self-delivered and Supplier work.
- Work closely with the CAFM Manager and Infrastructure Asset Manager for data sources and data integrity.
- Work closely with the Asset Survey Programme’s Project Manager.
- Populate the transformed data into Data Load Template and Data Change Templates monthly.
- Adhere to NHS Property Services Maintenance Framework.
- Generate monthly reports on data transformation progress.
- Validate data is loaded into CAFM System correctly.
- Any other requirements of Line Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Collate Infrastructure Assets, PPMs and Location data that has been collected as part of the ongoing Asset Collection Survey.
- Analyse the data collected against the existing data in the CAFM System using both excel formulas and manual data analysis techniques. Identifying which data already exists and requires updating, and which data that is new and requires loading.
- Transform the data to populate Data Load Templates and Data Change Templates, ensuring accuracy within each data set.
- Liaise with Technical Delivery Managers to ensure any additional self-delivered PPMs can be absorbed by the existing Engineering team.
- Support discussions with Technology Services and Third-Party System Vendor where necessary to ensure successful loading of data into both the Staging and Production System Environments.
- Carry out validation of data in both Staging and Production after each load and provide sign off.
- Incorporate best data governance practices and maintain data consistency
