Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Procurement Governance Manager to join our national team with a salary of £48,000 to £55,000 DOE + 10% performance based bonus + 6% matched pension. 

As an organisation that constantly strives to better our approach, we are looking for a proactive Procurement professional who will actively look to challenge process and the status quo to identify areas for change and improvement that will inevitably benefit the Patient.

The ideal candidate will also have a good understanding of cabinet office controls and commercial compliance frameworks and will be responsible for Monitoring and driving procurement compliance in accordance with Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (PCR 2015), Utilities Contract Regulations 2016 (UCR 2016), Cabinet Office Controls and Government Commercial Technical Standards across all areas of non-pay spend at NHS Property Services.

Specialists are expected to have a good understanding of their functional area, and how it connects with other areas of the business. They collaborate with colleagues to provide relevant and timely information in an understandable way to ensure we maintain compliance to deliver value for money, delivering positive outcomes for our internal and external stakeholders.

The succesful candidate will also:

  • Ensure Category teams are maintaining Procurement Systems, databases, and records.
  • Ensure all procurement data is current and up to date.
  • Support the Category Managers with Audit & Governance responsibilities and future audits.
  • Provide reporting to internal stakeholders and external bodies to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
  • Support with the communication of updates in Procurement Policy and subsequent procurement procedures.
