Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Data Quality Analyst to join our team based nationally with flexible working. The salary on offer is up to £60,000 with 6% matched pension and eligibility for our annual 10% bonus.
About the role:
The Data Quality Analyst will work within the Data and Intelligence partnering team and will develop and coordinate data quality, monitoring processes and trackers, identify data quality issues, undertake root-cause analysis, recommend permanent solutions.
They will take a lead on monitoring data improvement activities, and coordinate actions coming out of the Data Governance Committee for the function they partner with. The Data Quality Analyst will work collaboratively with other Data Quality Analysts and the central Data Governance and Assurance team to define, report, and qualify data attributes across the data estate. This role will develop data catalogues, glossaries, matrices, diagrams, and data flow mappings as relevant to describe relevant data items.
What you will bring to the role:
- Experience of data profiling to identify data quality issues.
- Experience of undertaking data cleansing routines.
- Experience of developing data quality initiatives and creating reports.
- Experience of writing SQL queries.
- Experience of deploying formal data quality processes.
- Hands-on experience working with Microsoft BI solutions (including SQL Server and SSIS).
- Experiencing of using Data Governance/Quality software such as Infogix, Data360, Govern, Ataccama, Cassandra, Pandora, Elation
- Proficient in writing SQL.
- Knowledge of data management and data governance processes.
- Broad understanding of business operations and governance/legal frameworks
