Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity within our close knit Corporate Social Responsibility team for an experienced professional with a background in social impact assessment. The salary on offer is £45,000 - £50,000 DOE with up to a 10% performance based bonus. 

This is a truly unique opportunity to join the businesses and drive real strategic change to positively impact the communities we serve. As the Social Impact & Reporting manager the successful candidate will be a key stake holder in identifying new opportunities to improve our CSR impact and establishing strategy to support it. This role will work across all CSR activity, and with the wider business, to establish and manage best-practice social impact measurement and reporting, ensuring that we can accurately determine the success of our programmes and identify areas for improvement. The role will also be essential in influencing both internal and external audiences on the business’ social impact activity through engaging and meaningful reporting. The successful candidate will:


  • Collect, analyse and report on CSR progress and activity to key internal stakeholders including the Executive Committee and Board. This may also include reporting on wider Responsible Business issues where required.
  • Use insight from emerging societal issues and industry trends to advise on the direction of future CSR activity.
  • Support the Head of CSR to establish business-wide ESG reporting requirements and best practice for NHSPS, making recommendations for improvements to external publications such as the Annual Report and Accounts.
  • Improve our ability to measure the social value and business impact of our community programmes, setting up clear reporting processes for all CSR activity. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​


We are looking for a knowledgeable CSR professional with experience of social impact assessments, the ideal candidate will have a broad CSR background with experience in a large, national organisation and hold a relevant accreditation. This is a very high profile role engaging with multiple stakeholders so excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
