Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a PFI Contract Compliance Auditor to join our team based anywhere in England.  The salary on offer is from £49,000 - £53,500 with a £3,000 car allowance, and eligibility for our annual 10% bonus.

This role will be hybrid and will see you working from home, and also out on site.

The role exists to ensure that NHSPS’ PFI estate of 26 properties is managed effectively and efficiently within the contractual deliverables of each contract.

Managing complex commercial relationships with the SPV’s, to deliver the best outcomes and ensure the PFI estate is managed, and the properties are handed back to NHS Property Services at the end of the contract term in estate code condition B. Managers may be invited to contribute to working groups or other forums to improve the business.

Future senior managers may be identified and developed from this group. Managers frequently share the same professional and technical backgrounds as their teams, and their role is to use their professional and technical backgrounds to deliver in line with targets and performance standards.

Core elements of the role:

The Contract Compliance Auditor will ensure that the contracts are delivered to the agreed standards within each PFI Service Specification of the Service Parameters and General Parameters. The purpose of the role is to undertake audits and create the Functional Audit Programme. Verify the effectiveness of the audit framework and support the delivery of improvements where identified. Working with the PFI Contract Management Lead to determine a risk-based approach to directing the audits, taking into consideration the delivery needs of the organisation based on recognised best practice. Ensuring Legislation and Compliance is adhered to at all times

This role will require you to demonstrate the following Qualifications, Experience, Capabilities and Knowledge:

  • Minimum of 3 years PFI experience
  • Understanding of Contract Management best practice
  • Good understanding of Facilities Management
  • Full understanding of Planned Preventive Maintenance
  • Experienced within a client-facing or consulting Health & Safety role, carrying out audits and risk management in varied environments
  • A 3-year minimum experience working in a similar role
  • Healthcare experience (Desirable)
  • Professional/technical know how
  • Commercial and financial acumen
  • Relevant legislative/regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Project and planning for Ad-hoc analysis. • Knowledge of FM and Property related operations
