About the role:
It is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Data Quality Analyst to join our team based nationally with flexible working.
The salary on offer is up to £60,000 with 6% matched pension and eligibility for our annual 10% bonus.
The Data Quality Analyst will work within the newly formed Data and Intelligence partnering team, supporting two of our core business functions:
- Digital and Data
- People Services
Starting from a blank canvas. This brand-new role will require one to develop and coordinate data quality, monitoring processes and trackers, identify data quality issues, undertake root-cause analysis, recommend permanent solutions.
That includes taking a lead on monitoring data improvement activities, and coordinating actions coming out of the Data Governance Committee for the functions they partner with.
The Data Quality Analyst will work collaboratively with other Data Quality Analysts and the central Data Governance and Assurance team to define, report, and qualify data attributes across the data estate.
This role will support a gradual development of data catalogues, glossaries, matrices, diagrams and data flow mappings describing relevant data items.
We are looking for a self-starting individual with the knowledge and experience of:
- data management and data governance processes
- developing data quality initiatives and creating reports
- undertaking both ad-hoc and root-cause data discovery analysis
- performing both routine and ad-hoc data cleansing activities
- recommending permanent solutions through the deployment of formal data quality processes
- coordinating actions coming out of business discussions and Data Steering Groups
- working with Microsoft BI solutions (including SQL Server and SSIS).
- using Data Governance/Quality software such as Infogix, Data360, Govern, Ataccama, Cassandra, Pandora, Elation
