Job Description


We have a great opportunity for a Caretaker - North East and Yorkshire to join our team based in Houghton - Houghton Primary Care Centre Brinkburn Crescent.

The salary on offer is £21,429.13 pro-rata.

This is a permanent, part-time position, working 37.5 hours. Please note that this is a fixed term role for 6 months.

The working pattern will be 4 x days on 4 x days off working a mix of earlies and lates.

Early shift  -05.45 - 15.45

Late shift 11.30 - 21.00


​​​​​​​Please note that due to the nature of this role, a drivers licence will be required.

This role will work within the facilities team to undertake general caretaking and handyperson duties in NHS Property Services premises, undertaking tasks in line with company policies and procedures. To ensure the completion of caretaking duties and basic maintenance tasks in a timely and efficient manner.

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • Experience of caretaking/handyperson duties or similar.
  • Working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements.
