Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Network Engineer to join our team based up North with flexible working. The salary on offer is up to £50000 with car allowance, up to 6% matched pensions and 27 days annual leave

Reporting to the Site Support Lead, you will be part of a small team responsible for new site deployments, site relocations and site decommissions, site expansions and several other various activities across a number of locations within the UK.

The role is in essence has a broad requirement and a wide scope and requires a level of experience in a number of areas; technical aspects such as cloud connectivity and networking, user end point device builds and deployments, and AV equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with colleagues within Technology Services and other parts of the business to successfully plan and execute surveys, installations of hardware and networking infrastructure.
  • Ensure that all site installations are delivered against the agreed design and specification.
  • Work closely with third party vendors and partners to ensure that all technical deliverables are in place for smooth delivery of downstream components.
  • Work with other technical teams to ensure that all equipment is configured and shipped to sites for installation.

To help succeed in this role, is it desirable to have:

  • 3 Years’ experience of EUC installations across large complex estates
  • Experience of managing multiple work packages over several projects
  • Experience of working in an Agile or Waterfall project methodology ​​​​​​​
