Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for Head of Data Change Management to join our team. The role is flexible on location and will require regular travel to Stockport. This role is being offered on permanent basis, and the salary is £70,000 - £75,000 per annum, a car allowance of £4,500, 27 days of annual leave and this role will also be eligible for a bonus of up to 10% dependent on performance.

The Data Change Manager will lead and shape the data change processes and management team. Combining our current data change teams from across the business into a single multiskilled team, allowing us to put our customer at the heart of what we do and deliver an excellent data change customer journey providing a first-class customer experience.

You will provide leadership and direction to create a high performing engaged and enabled team who will inspire the business to work to consistent processes and best practice methodologies, giving us greater control, transparency, and governance to keep our data current and accurate.

The Data Change Manager will be responsible for

  • Integrate the current data change teams, including designing a new multi-skilled functional structure to support the operations to deliver RFT data change for our customers
  • Set the strategy for the data change team, staying abreast of new practices, policies, and technologies, ensuring that we gain and maintain quality and deliver RFT.
  • Reviewing and clearly defining all our data change roles, including skills and candidate profiles required to support the business in data change processes.
  • Responsible for supporting the operation and driving engagement to identify, develop and implement processes, guidance notes and best practices to improve efficiency, consistency, and business performance.
  • Develop and maintain consistent end to end data change processes and best practice methodologies to drive business performance improvements to deliver an efficient cost-effective portfolio that supports the needs of the NHS.
  • Supporting cross company initiatives to drive data quality, data structure and reduce customer complaints relating to inaccurate data resulting in incorrect billing.
  • Drive maximum efficiency for the organization, including centralised workflow management activity and automation.
  • Consolidate data change processes to create a one stop shop for our colleagues and customers requesting data changes to create a streamlined service.
  • Manage the day-to-day performance of the data change activity to deliver a best-in-class service, meeting or exceeding all KPIs and within budget.
  • Responsible for effective resource planning ensuring business demand is effectively covered.
  • Applying best practise to drive continuous improvement within team and make recommendations based upon the colleague and customer insight.
  • Championing and influencing data change projects to achieve improvements in the customer experience.
  • Active engagement across the business to identify, develop, embed, and maintain guidance notes, and processes to include robust periodic reviews with process owners to ensure they remain relevant and aligned to business strategy.
  • Deliver cost efficiencies and increased Customer Satisfaction Scores.
  • Enhance the quality and accuracy of data and timeliness of data updates. Ensuring quality assurance, compliance, regulatory and legal obligations are met across all interactions.
  • Identify customer data changes in the wider organisation that could be replicated and/or migrated into central data change teams, focusing on automation and digital self-service as much as possible
  • Acting as an ambassador and helping drive a culture that promotes the highest quality of data. Highlighting to business where there are gaps to make the required amendments.
