Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior or Associate Town Planner to join our team based nationally with flexible working. The salary on offer is up to £60,000 with up to 6% matched pension and 27 days annual leave.
This role presents an opportunity for a town planner to help support the transformation of the NHS estate by acting as an internal expert on town planning matters, with a focus on securing and establishing funding opportunities for new and improved health infrastructure. You will also act as an informed client on town planning matters, including on development viability issues, that affect our estate and that of any of our client organisations, particularly on site disposal and development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research, identify and develop opportunities to secure and fund NHS infrastructure through Section 106 planning obligations and the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL)
- Prepare and present funding proposals/ bids through collaborative working with teams in the organisation, wider NHS partners and external stakeholders
- Monitor local, regional and national planning policy consultations, considering the impact of this on the company’s portfolio and inputting, where required, to any consultation in order to influence emerging planning policies such as the Infrastructure Levy
