Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a QA Test Lead to join our team based nationally with flexible working on a 12 month FTC.  The salary on offer is up to £70,000.

The QA test lead will join a new project team tasked with the migration of existing critical business systems to the Azure cloud.

The role will require leading of project testing activities including planning, estimation, execution. Reporting of test activities for migration of multiple applications and data storage to the cloud. This will include disaster recovery testing.

Experience of testing within cloud technologies is crucial.

You will need to demonstrate an understanding of DevOps practices and the ability to understand code.

Testing and QA

  • Determine a testing approach for cloud migration of existing applications
  • Disaster recovery testing
  • Data quality testing
  • Ensure testing is conducted in a valid and repeatable manner
  • Ensure that agreed quality standards are maintained and adhered to within the project team.

Planning and Documentation

  • Contribute to Agile planning as part of the “Three Amigos”.
  • Maintain and publish Quality Metrics, test coverage etc.
