Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a EUC Engineer to join our team based nationally with flexible working on a 12 month FTC. The salary on offer is from £50,000-£55,000.
The EUC Engineer will work in conjunction with Architects, Engineers and our user base to provide hands on expertise in deploying and developing a zero-touch laptop and phone deployment solution using Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
Following our Enterprise Device Management strategy, the EUC Engineer is required to have excellent working knowledge of Endpoint Manager to create Identity based profiles based on technology need. Be able to identify concerns with the design and adapt where suitable.
Ensuring the development of the solution aligns to the agreed principles the EUC Engineer will decide on the best use of the tools available to fulfil the design. They will be responsible for both the deployment and creation of the technical documentation to support it.
You will be adaptable to change throughout the deployment. As we move to Modern device management other tools and solutions will be implemented to aid DLP and data governance which will need to be accounted for in the deployment. An agile approach to the deployment will allow for gradual creation a working solution to encompass the needs of all our users.
- Build a zero-touch endpoint management solution following the EDM strategy and EUC principles
- Be responsible for all technology and polices deployed within Endpoint Manager. Ensuring that the deployment of a zero-touch solution does not interfere with any existing policies.
- Work with 3rd party suppliers to ensure a successful implementation of zero touch deployment of devices via Autopilot and Android Zero touch Enrolment.
- Provide a simple solution for the wipe and reprovision of old devices to the new modern device management solution.
You will need:
- Minimum of 3 years of professional IT Experience OR with 5 years of professional IT experience without a University Degree
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft’s Endpoint Manager and associated products
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365
- Working knowledge of Package Managers (WinGet, Chocolatey)
- Design and implementation experience with Endpoint Manager and Intune
