Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Records Management Specialist to join our national team for a 2 year Fixed Term Contract. The salary on offer is up to £70,000 DOE plus a 10% performance based bonus.
About the role:
Working within the Information Governance team and all functions across the organisation this is a great opportunity for an experienced Records Management professional to directly drive improvement how NHSPS manages its data.
The role involves being the Information and Records Management expert driving and delivering key elements of the Information and Records Management project including retention, classification, education across the business, information policies and labelling for integration into M365 / SharePoint suite.
The successful candidate will be an excellent relationship builder with experience of delivering large data retention projects. You will:
- Manage a small project team to drive the retention project forward to deliver against agreed deadlines and collaborate with key stakeholders to build engagement and support.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to design and implement records management programme and best practices.
- Evaluate and develop existing retention, classification of information, Information policies and retention schedules and developing remedies for problems.
- Design solutions for information management and provide advice and guidance about information handling and information lifecycle management.
What you will bring to the role:
- Able to communicate to people at all levels of the organisation and be able to enthusiastically act as an advocate for good information and records management.
- Relevant experience providing information and knowledge management expertise.
- Technical experience of 365 environments and purview
- Experience developing retention policy and schedules
- Experience of implementing change
