Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for an E-Invoicing Processing Assistant to join our team based in Stockport. The salary on offer is from £22,500 to £23,000 per annum.

Within our Accounts Payable function, we have set-up a Document Delivery team to answer queries and resolve issues reported by our Suppliers, and Employees.

As part of this team, you will be responsible for providing first-line support to suppliers and employees who contact NHSPS; channelling requests to appropriate business groups for resolution, monitoring cases and keeping suppliers apprised of progress.

You will be responsible for the processing of items (credit notes and invoices) in exception status both in our E-Invoicing platform (Tradeshift) and items that cannot be transmitted through our system’s Integration Layer, due to mismatches.

If you are passionate about problem solving and you are keen on supporting colleagues and encouraging best practices, this role is for you!

Your duties will be split between processing & administrative tasks and resolving issues our stakeholders may have with document delivery. You’ll be responsible for processing high volume of Invoices in Exception Status (CSV), and investigating, processing, and logging Integration Layer Exceptions. Contacting colleagues when required and assisting senior colleagues with reporting and ad-hoc tasks will also form part of this position.

You will also be responsible for handling incoming phone calls and emails from suppliers and colleagues with queries regarding our e-invoicing system (Tradeshift), and Invoice and Purchase Order mismatches. You’ll also be assisting suppliers through their initial use of Tradeshift and promoting its use as preferred method of doing business with NHSPS and complying with data protection regulations. Performing Data Protection checks and GDPR compliance.

We understand how important life is outside of work so, as well as a competitive salary and 27 days annual leave, we’ll support you, wherever possible, so that you don’t miss out on what truly matters to you.

If you do ever need a little bit of extra help we have a great employee assistance programme, financial well-being support and access to great discounts with leading high street names with the bluelight discount card.

Our range of network groups are also there to support you to truly be yourself at work and play a key role in helping shape our future. We ‘hire for attitude and train for skills’ providing opportunities for our people to develop & progress their careers at all levels through our Professional Excellence Framework.

If you are a member of a professional body we’ll pay for your membership and once you get your digital kit you’ll be good to go in one of our great offices (or at home!)
