Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Engineer to join our team on a 12 month FTC. The role is based nationally with flexible working. The salary on offer is c. £63,000 per annum.

The Quality Engineer will join an existing engineering team to support building quality into all areas of the delivery process, leading with an automation first mindset.

This role will be part of a broader team enabling software solutions for facilities management services to the medical sector. Technology based on .net/C# with Angular, deployed to Azure, supporting solutions all the way through the delivery cycle.

The role will involve validating the solution against the requirements, system/UAT/stress testing the solution, deployment, and documentation. The Quality Engineer will require good organizational skills and an attention to detail.

While the engineering team predominantly uses Microsoft technologies, the Quality Engineer will have hands on experience all levels of testing. Skilled in Java &/or c#, Selenium/Playwright Automation Testing, BDD(Cucumber/Specflow), CI/CD, API Testing, Postman, SoapUI, Performance Testing,  RPA tools like UiPath, Agile methodologies & GIT.

Key responsibilities:


  • Determine a testing approach that encompasses manual-exploratory and automated-regression testing
  • Recommend the appropriate technologies and frameworks to enable sustainable regression automation e.g. Selenium, Azure Load Testing Tools
  • Testing responsive apps across multiple device types
  • Contribute to Agile planning as part of the “Three Amigos”.
  • Maintain and publish Quality Metrics e.g. bug-discovery vs bug-kill, automation coverage etc.
  • Maintain meaningful acceptance criteria across the backlog items to be tested​​​​​​​
