We have a fantastic opportunity for a Service Transformation Manager to join our Digital and Data team based in London with flexible working. The salary on offer is up to £70,000 with eligibility for our annual 10% bonus. Reporting to the Head of Service Management you will be responsible for leading the transformation of live TS Services through a comprehensive programme of consolidations and optimizations. This role will have the remit to evaluate the current service landscape, including the vendors, technology, and their performance to identify and discover areas for potential optimisation or consolidation.
About the Role
This role works closely with the Service Delivery Manager and Service Operations Manager to identify areas of high benefit and supports the Service Design & Transition function to ensure that new services fold gracefully into any new service offering.
Whilst the role is broad in scope, specific areas of responsibility will include managing CT and ‘dis-benefits’ workstreams for Service, Asset & Configuration Management and managing the CSU relationships we have, feeding into the Site Team’s backlog for targeted discovery work to tighten specifications and / or reduce service reliance and thus, contract spend. As a manager in the Service Management team, this role will be required to help maturing key ITIL processes, create and nurturing a supportive environment, that works collaboratively and harmoniously with a common understanding and a Service-led mindset, with customer service at the heart of everything that they do.
You Will :
- Identify areas for Asset maturity, such as breach warnings, cert subscription tracking and alerting, the relationships between CI’s or types of CI’s for Service value and service impact analysis. (e.g: the number of phones or laptops, against users, tied to licencing or subscriptions (links to asset management maturity).
- Establish any capabilities, additional services, vendor capabilities that provide any metrics that will be used to understand asset usage (e.g: Laptops, mobiles, licensing and subscriptions) to be fed into Asset value, Performance Management or be used by the business to understand adoption.
- Manage the workstreams for commitment cost and value transformation activities for live production Services, identifying opportunities and prioritising targets for focus and activity, right-sizing services and configurations, metering and adjusting service assets to optimise value or gain commercial advantages.
- Successfully reduce the number of vendors and partnerships we leverage services from (e.g. Network)
- Assist with the development of procuring new services and partnerships.
- Work with the Service Operations Manager to qualify all CSU services in the Service Catalogue, inclusive of assets; providing a single point of truth.
What you will bring to the role:
- Able to persuade and negotiate to ensure governance is implemented and followed in a collaborative way
- Ability to build strong relationships and handle difficult conversations
- Experience of ensuring conformation to standards including regulatory, legislation, control and other governance standards
- Knowledge of ITIL
- Working knowledge of Procurement process and on-going contract management
- Degree in analytical subject or equivalent level of experience of working at required level in specialist area
- 5 years experience working in a Service Management role
