Job Description

NHS Property Services enables excellent patient care by acting as a trusted advisor to the NHS and by providing the best estate solutions. 

We manage 2,700 properties with 6,300 customers across England, which accounts for approximately 10% of the total NHS estate. Our properties range from listed buildings to new integrated care centres and include hospitals, GP practices and offices. 

The Events Executive will support the Colleague Communications team to implement and deliver events activity to support webinars, awards, conferences and roadshow events across England, ensuring events run smoothly and fulfil their business goals.

What you will do

• Support the Colleague Communications team to organise and administrate events with colleagues across different channels including in person conferences, webinars and smaller roadshow events
• Organise logistics of the monthly CEO management webinar, annual awards and other high profile events as require
• Research vendors and venues, liaise with suppliers to ensure events are run smoothly and to achieve objectives
• Deliver all event related documentation including managing incoming event queries, creating and tracking budgets, drafting invitations, agendas, creating and sending invitations, intranet pages, send and collate post event surveys, manage delegate lists 

• Support on the day of events (in-person and online) such as technical checks and set up of
materials
• Liaise with Technology colleagues to ensure technology support is correct
• Liaise with vendors and event locations to ensure they are fully briefed
• Briefing and act as point of contact for event speakers
• Maintain events tracker and calendar, feeding into the overall marketing and communications forward view
• Maintain events intranet page and work with colleagues in external and marketing to highlight events for wider opportunities

Who you are

• Experience working on events online and in-person
• Creating, implementing supporting communications for events

• Event planning and/or project management knowledge/techniques
• Awareness of communications channels, content and techniques an advantage
• An interest in digital communications

• Able to work on several projects at once and maintain high standards
• Ability to problem solve
• Good interpersonal skills and confident
working with internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent writing, communication and organisation skills with a strong attention to detail
