Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Product Analyst join our team based nationally with flexible working.The salary on offer is up to £46,000 per annum. This is a 12 month FTC. 

About the role: 

This role sits in the Product team, under the Product Owner of a specific technology. The Product Analyst role plays a key role as part of the resolver group relating to their area of technology and supports the Product Owner and Senior Product Specialist in driving the vision and agenda for the product area while ensuring the technology remains stable and compliant. The role requires technical knowledge in order to be able to support colleagues and end users with queries and support defect and issue resolution through detailed root cause analysis ensuring one-time-fix. The ability to deliver quick-thinking solutions while maintaining a customer-centric approach to problem solving is critical for this role.

As part of a wider Product team, the Analyst will work with wider members of the team on supporting adoption strategies and helping communicate the overall vision of the Product. Assisting the Senior Analyst and/or Product Owner in delivering value through initiatives is key to this role embedding themselves in the end user community in order to better support them and provide context to the wider team on training and support of live service.

The role is part of the Digital & Data function and reports to the Product Owner.

Experience

  • SQL Query writing 
  • Supporting B2B and internal integrations
  • Experience with a report writing language / solution

Knowledge

  • Experience supporting Azure components (logic apps, function apps and storage accounts)
  • An understanding of API's and other methods of data transfer
  • Must have a strong interest in cloud technologies

Key Responsibilities 

  • Reviewing all errors, warning & information alerts from the Integration Layer Manager
  • Serve as a product expert for their technology and its capabilities and stay abreast of product previews and roadmaps that should be used in consultation with business teams to drive continuous improvement with the wider Product team
  •  Contribute to the product roadmap by providing recommendations on improvements and adoption opportunities highlighted through the resolver group activity
  •  Collaborate with third party vendors, internal developers and support teams to align on launch of new features that improve organizational capabilities
  •  Lead on ensuring that all new feature releases have been considered through service support and appropriate knowledge and support is provided to teams and end users following the release
  •  Support the vision for the technology with the wider Digital & Data leadership and colleagues with regular feedback
  •  Take proactive interest in developing personal and professional skills in the Product area and their technology to better support the wider Digital & Data team
  • Participate in the evaluation and design of technical solutions, supporting the development of business cases, and identification / communication of associated risks and service support requirements
