We have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance - Record to Report (R2R) SME, to join the fast Digital Strategy Programme and be part of shaping the future solution strategy to support the Delivery, Finance and People business functions. This programme will focus on combining people, process, data and technology to create an overarching operating model for each of our core business solutions. The salary on offer is up to £45,000 DOE and we offer flexible hybrid working. This is a 2 year FTC.
About the role:
Initial focus will be leading the discovery stage for the Finance workstream to support an aspirational to-be operating model to meet the organisation’s long-term strategic objectives. Procurement activity will then be undertaken to source the best-fit technology solution to underpin our future ways of working. You will act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Record to Report forming an understanding of current processes and using your expertise advising on ‘to be’ processes covering:
You Will :
- System reporting requirements and capabilities by various dimensions including customer, property & regional reporting, capital & project accounting, all suitable for a self-serve model
- An understanding of how the finance system is a dependency and enabler for the needs of financial performance reporting
- Engage in workshops, meetings with the programme team and wider business stakeholders.
- Help facilitate engagement with other stakeholders as required
- Support the RFP process with inputs relevant to the finance functions and capabilities required when a new solution is identified.
- Accounting system set up including accounts architecture, chart of accounts & dimension rules.
What you will bring to the role:
- Relevant experience working in Property management industry preferable but not essential
- Ambiguity tolerance
- Growth mindset
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Adaptable to change or new ways of working
- Management and systems accounting experience
