Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for 6 full-time permanent positions as Clerk of the Works to join our team across England (North, Midlands, East, South West, London & South) .The salary on offer is from £35,000 to £45,000, with a £3,000 car allowance  + 27 days holiday, and up to 6% matched pension contribution. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Fire Compartmentalisation Project Manager and liaising with key stake holders in the region, you will drive the programme deliverables and business compliance in accordance with the National Programme Manager’s plan.

Key role responsibilities:

Liaising with contractors, engineers and surveyors including initial site surveys and Pre-Start meetings.  Being mobile, you will travel in your region between an office base, your home and construction sites and be the trusted face of the FCP and NHSPS Construction Team. Measuring and quality checking building materials and installation methods.

The successful candidates will:

  • Have minimum of 2 years’ experience in the construction industry/similar role.
  • Have excellent  communication skills.
  • Be a good negotiator and able to act as a mediator.
  • Experience of working in a customer focused environment.
  • Experience of working in a health care related environment
