Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a full time Chef to join our team based in Clacton-On-Sea  -  Clacton Hospital Building 11.

  • Working 33.25 hours per week on the below shift pattern.
  • Week 1 Monday 8.15am-6.30pm, Tuesday-Thursday 7.30am-1pm & Friday 8.15am-6.30pm.
  • Week 2 Tuesday-Thursday 12.15pm-6.30pm, Saturday & Sunday 8am-6.30pm.
  • £12.55 per hour £24,535.01
  • Training will be provided
  • No DBS required.

About the role:


  • To provide a high quality, cost effective and efficient service of food and beverages to patients, colleagues and visitors, produced in an environment that is safe and clean. ensure all catering services reflect staff and customer needs.
  • Responsible for the provision of a food and beverage service, in accordance with health and safety requirements, Patient Led Assessments of the Care Environment (PLACE) and NHS Property Services policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe environment for patients, colleagues, and visitors by following all relevant policies and procedures and reporting all potential risks or hazards including equipment immediately to the Team Leader and ensure that menu planning is cost effective, and that food service has minimal wastage
