Job Description

Join NHS Property services as a Delivery Business Manager.  Are you a seasoned business manager, with a knack for effective business planning?   Are you an expert in driving performance with a keen eye for analysing data and adept at fostering excellent stakeholder relationships?  Are you someone who excels at collaborating with others to achieve the right business outcomes?   Do you want to be the driving force of ensuring the Delivery function excels and continuously improves?  If so, we want you as part of our team!

The salary on offer is starting £43,000 - £51,000, with a £3,000 car allowance  The role has a hybrid approach and although location is flexible, you will need to live in  an area that supports regular travel within the Birmingham/West Midlands area.

About the role

Although this role is not directly responsible for delivery of the Estate services, as our Delivery Business Manager you will monitor and drive performance of the function objectives through a framework of measures, effective planning and stakeholder engagement. Performance monitoring and management are fundamental activities to this role, as is the need to collaborate with other functions, identify and support opportunities for continuous improvement and the ability to take a wider view of business needs and priorities for effective demand planning.

What you will bring to the role?

  • Significant experience of monitoring and managing performance against scorecard targets, budgets and project plan deadlines
  • Good knowledge and working experience of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling action plans
  • Experience of working in a property-based operational environment
  • Experience of operating in a busy, customer focused business
  • Proficiency in analysing data and preparing reports and presentations turning complex data into actionable insights
  • Experience of identifying and driving improvements to enable efficiency
  • Experience of delivering change
  • Track record of success in professional area
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel Power Query/Pivot, and Power BI Applications for Ad-hoc analysis.
