Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Data Architect  join our national Digital team to support us for a 2 year Fixed Term Contract. The salary on offer is up to £100,000 and a 10% performance based bonus. 

About the role: 

As a Data Architect within NHSPS you will define the vision, strategy, and principles for the organisation’s data architecture and management. This will include defining how data (structured, semi-structured, and unstructured) will be stored, consumed, integrated, and managed by different data entities and IT systems, as well as any applications using or processing the organisation’s data.

The successful candidate will identify future data technologies and identify how NHSPS can leverage them to get the data we need to the teams who need it. This is a key role that will drive change in the business to further improve patient care. 

What you will bring to the role:

  • Experience designing and implementing RDBMS technologies (particularly SQL Server) and OLAP

  • Experience with Cloud databases, especially Azur

  • Able to demonstrate significant experience in database design and data architecture experience 

  • Extensive knowledge of data warehouse, data architecture and best practices
