Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a full time Parking Attendant to join our team based Southampton - Royal South Hants Hospital - Main Site on a 6-month fixed term contract.
- Hours of Work - 37.5 per week
- Monday – Friday 8.30am-1pm then 1.30pm-4.30pm
- Pay £24,073.77 per annum
- Training will be provided
- 6 month fixed term contract
- DBS check required
The Car Parking Attendant is responsible for monitoring and patrolling the hospital car parking. This will include replenishing tickets in the columns and ensuring there is a spare box, emptying ticket bins from the columns and ensuring car park counts are correct.
On busy days, you could also be directing car parking, and you will be required to walk around the car park doing regular checks, you will also check roadside permits, reporting vehicles without permits and ensuring they are parked within a marked bay. You will ensure the staff bus stop is kept clear you will be required to check contractors compound parking and verifying the vehicles with the Contractors sign in sheet with security. You will liaise with Southampton City Council regarding faults and deal with queries at the parking office desk.
