Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Asset Decision Support Business Partner to join our team with hybrid working from home and our London office. The salary on offer is up to £45,000 and up to 6% matched pension plus 27 days holiday.

About the role:

The role sits within the Finance Decision Support team, focusing on financial appraisal and due diligence that supports our colleagues’ decision making. The role will support in ensuring NHSPS understands, protects, and leverages financial value by providing insightful and influential analysis to assist management and drive well informed decisions, mitigating risk and realising value potential.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Management accounting including preparation of general journals and accruals
  • Proven track record of advising finance and non-finance managers and giving guidance where needed
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Able to understand and interpret financial performance information and how it relates to financial reporting
  • Highly numerate
  • Able to work on own initiative and organize own workload without supervision, working to tight deadlines
  • Possess a robust understanding of financial and activity systems (ERP) and the ability to extract, interpret and manipulate information from them
  • Knowledge of financial accounting principles and techniques
