Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Improvement Specialist to join our team on a national basis. The salary on offer is from £49,000 up to £55,000 depending on experience on a full time permanent basis.
The successful candidate will lead on business improvement projects that align to NHSPS strategic pillars and transform the business, with a focus on putting customers at the heart of what we do. A key focus for the BIS is to apply the DMAIC framework to ensure successful delivery of business improvement projects resulting in measurable and tangible business benefits. You will also support the Senior Business Improvement Specialist on bigger complex cross-functional projects. The Business Improvement Specialist will also promote and help embed a continuous improvement culture across the business.
As a BIS you will:
· Lead on business improvement projects following Lean Six Sigma methodology, including developing project charter, plans, status reporting and managing risks and issues
· Conduct virtual and in person workshops to map as-is and to-be processes
· Analyse structured and unstructured data to provide recommendations with measurable improvements
· Create process models to the defined standards within the company’s process management framework
· Mange stakeholders and project dependencies/interdependencies to ensure aligned outcomes and effective transition to BAU ownership
The ideal candidate will have:
· Experience delivering projects with tangible, customer, and business benefits
· Experience of delivering presentations to customers, management, and key stakeholders
· Highly capable communicator with outstanding two-way communication at all levels
· Ability to build credibility and influence at a senior level
· 3+ years’ experience in a Business Improvement/ transformational role
