Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Internal Audit & Policy Accountant to join our team for a 12 month contract. The salary on offer is from £50,000 - £58,000 with a 10% pro rata bonus.

The Internal Audit & Policy Accountant will be responsible for ownership of all finance policies as well as completion and roll out of the NHSPS Policy framework. This will include indirectly supporting the creation and review of both new and existing policies across the business. They will also help drive company visions and values and shape department “eco-system” and culture of pro-activeness, excellence and understanding.

This is a pivotal role in our to increase audit literacy and compliance across the business. The successful candidate will need to be an expert communicator who is able to support and develop their colleagues understanding of policy and process. This role may also provide ad-hoc required support to the tax function within the business. Areas of tax to be covered will include corporation tax, VAT, CIS and Capital Gains Tax (CGT).

The successful candidate will need: 

  • Good stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Experience in a business or finance environment, utilising technical accounting skills.
  • The ability to Interact with senior stakeholders / Executive teams
