We have a fantastic opportunity for a PMO Analyst to join our team working remotely with the occasional travel involved. The salary on offer is up to £45,000 on a full time permanent basis.
About the role:
The programme management office (PMO) analyst, will support key project and programmes for NHSPS, applying project and programme management good practice. The role covers a diverse range of activities to support the delivery of effective change and realisation of benefits. The role will enable the smooth running of the project / programme by supporting the project / programme manager or other designated person through the operation of project / programme management processes, and co-ordination of actions and activities on their behalf. The role will include governance, risk and issue management, standardised programme and project reporting, supporting the development of plans and management, change control, budget management and coordination of and input to change management activity.
Role Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and updating progress against plans
- Liaise with the project / programme manager to ensure plans remain on track
- Manage steering committee meetings, management of actions and coordination of inputs
- Support the formal governance processes for project reporting
- Recording progress in line with the reporting framework and escalating issues of concern
- Scheduling of project review meetings / calls.
- Supporting capturing and issuing key notes / actions arising from review meetings
- Set up and maintain project files and manage access permissions for SharePoint
- Establish and manage document control procedures
- Support co-ordination of inputs to the project’s business case
- Collect and report on budget actuals data and forecasts
- Update project / programme plans
- Assist with effective change management activity and interventions
- Assist with the compilation of reports, project reviews and stage gate approvals
- Monitor, analyse and co-ordinate programme and project RAID logs and lessons learned
- Adopt and help shape good project management practice
- Adopt Project Management Centre of Excellence project lifecycle and supporting toolkit
