Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Business Development Manager to join our Open Space Team. The salary on offer is £70,000 - £80,000 with £3,500 car allowance, up to 10% performance based bonus eligibility, up to 6% matched pension plus 27 days holiday.
About the role:
NHS Open Space launched in April 2019 and provides clinical and non-clinical space, bookable on an hourly, Sessional or daily basis. This allows us and our customers to keep up with the growing demand for Ad hoc clinical space providing more services for our communities.
This Senior Business Development Manager (SBDM) is a key part of the Open Space team, you will be instrumental in developing, implementing and adapting strategy to ensure business goals are achieved. The SBDM will also be responsible for attracting new business to NHS Open Space. This will be achieved through nurturing existing user relationships to understand their requirements and increase usage, as well as targeting and attracting new customers through proactive business development.
We are exploring the expansion of NHS Open Space to non-NHSPS properties. The SBDM will develop a pipeline of interested landlords to adopt Open Space for their own space usage requirements. You will create trusted partnerships with customers, promoting our approach to more efficient usage of vacant space throughout the NHS portfolio.
What you will bring to the role:
- Proven experience within a business development role, developing accounts valued at £1m+.
- Experience in implementing business development on a national level.
- Demonstrable experience in business change management activities for audiences ranging from senior to administrator level.
- Demonstrable experience of developing and reviewing strategies.
