We are currently recruiting for a General Assistant to join our team at Edgware Hospital, London. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting the day-to-day operations of the hospital and ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient environment for patients, colleagues and visitors.
37.5 hours per week
£15.00 per hour
2 days off per week
Rotational shifts across a 6-week rota, including varied start and finish times
Enhanced DBS is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting general hospital operations
Assisting with portering and internal movements
Maintaining clean, safe, and organised environments
Responding to day-to-day operational needs
Working collaboratively with colleagues across departments
What We’re Looking For
Flexible and reliable with availability to work across a rota, including weekends
Ability to adapt to changing shift patterns
Experience in a general assistant, porter, cleaning, or support role (healthcare experience desirable but not essential)
Strong teamworking skills
A proactive and dependable approach
Comfortable working in a busy, patient-focused environment
