We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Lease Advisory Manager to join our growing Lease Advisory Team on a fixed-term contract up to 12 months.

About the Role

Our customer base is expanding rapidly, and we are partnering with several Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) to support lease advisory activity, drive value from lease transactions, and enhance estate performance across the NHS. In this role, you will manage and report on a portfolio of head lease and sub-lease events, ensuring all activity is delivered effectively, on time, and with a strong focus on value for money. You will play a key role in protecting business operations across our core leasehold sites while supporting customers with the management of their leasehold estates. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a growing, high-performing team, with the potential for the role to become permanent subject to business growth.

Who You Are

You are a commercially minded Chartered Surveyor with strong lease advisory expertise and a passion for delivering value within a complex, purpose-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of lease events including rent reviews, lease renewals, break options, and re-gears
  • Apply expert landlord and tenant knowledge to maximise value and minimise risk across lease lifecycles
  • Lead negotiations to achieve the best commercial outcomes for NHS Property Services
  • Ensure all lease events are completed efficiently and in line with governance and approval processes
  • Collaborate with finance and property management teams to align lease events with budgets and forecasts
  • Monitor and report on productivity, KPIs, and performance metrics
  • Build and manage strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Oversee service delivery to ensure high-quality outcomes for customers
  • Manage external agents and advisers, holding them accountable for performance
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and feedback to colleagues where appropriate

What We’re Looking For

  • MRICS/FRICS qualification with post-qualification experience
  • Strong knowledge of landlord and tenant law, lease interpretation, and asset management
  • Proven experience managing lease events and delivering successful negotiation outcomes
  • Experience applying valuation principles in lease advisory work
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience managing external agents and professional advisers
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes and continuous improvement


Where you’ll be

This is a fixed-term contract for up to 12 months, offering a hybrid working arrangement and based within our North region. The salary starts from £52,500 per annum, plus a car allowance and up to 10% performance-based bonus.
