We have a Maintenance Assistant role to join our team, based at Stockport – Unit 2, Kennedy Way, covering sites across Greater Manchester.
• Salary starting from £25,000 per annum
• Permanent contract
• Mobile role covering Greater Manchester
• Monday to Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm
• Company van provided & tools provided
Key Responsibilities
This role will support the delivery of day‑to‑day maintenance services across NHS Property Services premises. You will assist with general maintenance, repairs and upkeep, working in line with NHS Property Services policies and procedures.
Key duties will include:
- Carrying out general handyman and maintenance tasks
- Supporting water management activities and compliance requirements
- Assisting with minor repairs and maintenance works across multiple sites
- Working flexibly across different locations within Greater Manchester
- Demonstrating positive behaviours and a proactive, helpful attitude at all times
Where you’ll be
- Base hub: Stockport – Unit 2, Kennedy Way
- Coverage: Mobile role across Greater Manchester
What we’re looking for
- General maintenance or handyman experience
- Knowledge or experience of water management (desirable)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
- Flexibility to travel between sites as required
- Full UK driving licence
