Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Capital Projects Manager (Construction) to join our Capital Projects team based in Portsmouth for a 12 month fixed term contract. The salary is starting from £43,000 plus car allowance and a 10% performance based bonus. The role will require a driving license.

About the role:

Capital Project Managers play a key role in delivering NHS Property Services’ Capital programme within their region, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with organisational priorities. This role is responsible for managing minor works and backlog maintenance projects, from initial scoping and stakeholder engagement through to procurement, delivery, and handover.

  • Experience of operating in a busy, customer focused business
  • Experience of driving improvements to enable efficiency
  • Experience of delivering change
  • Track record of success in professional area
  • Experience of delivering projects in live, operational sensitive environments
  • Experience working effectively with consultants and contractors
  • Experienced in managing medium and large scale construction projects safely and compliantly to the desired specification
