NHS Property Services (NHSPS) is dedicated to enabling excellent patient care by serving as a trusted property advisor to the NHS. We are committed to providing the best estate solutions, ensuring that our healthcare facilities are optimised for efficiency and effectiveness.
We proudly manage a diverse portfolio of 2,700 properties across England, catering to the needs of 6,300 customers. This extensive portfolio represents approximately 10% of the total NHS estate. Our properties range from historic listed buildings to state-of-the-art integrated care centres, encompassing hospitals, GP practices, and administrative offices.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Policy & Process Manager, this role will be flexible working from home, however you can also visit any of our local hubs.
This is a 12-Fixed Term Contract, working 37.5 hours per week, with flexible starting times. This can be discussed at interview stage.
About the role:
The purpose of this role is to support the Delivery Function, ensuring that relevant policies, standards, and guidance documents are reviewed, updated, and communicated appropriately. The role will be responsible for the development, implementation and improvement of end-to-end processes, and best practice methodologies to optimise Delivery and business performance. The role will involve on-going dialogue with external and internal stakeholders to ensure that legislative change and industry best practice is always adopted.
What you will bring to the role:
- Experience working in a property services industry/ real estate environment or FM Technical Services
- Experience in the production of Policy/process/best practice document development and implementation.
- Project management experience
- Demonstrable experience in leading business and process improvement projects.
- Process Mapping Experience
- Degree level education or suitable HNC/HND qualification (desirable)
- Chartered member of a professional institute - RICS, IWFM, CIBSE OR IET (desirable)
- Demonstrates confidence and extensive experience in facilitating workshops
